Exhibition lighting, power costs - WOW.

If you have not already asked your show organizer how much your required power sockets will cost, it's time too, for armed with this information you can now correctly consider your approach to lighting your stand, appropriately to your given budget. For many exhibitor's the largest power draw at any exhibition will be the lighting. So how many lights do I need and what type, should be the questions now springing to mind. How bright do you want to go, what kind of mood or feel are you trying to set, do you only need white light or would a mix including coloured lighting in some area's jazz things up. Consider what best suits the floor area and it's shape, what would best compliment your products and the materials that they are made from. Can you bounce light off of near by reflective walling, can you shine it through a ceiling structure, may be floor standing lights even. Now, to keep things simple, bulbs also have colour ranges, some give off what is considered as white light, some yellow, some are blue. The most popular bulb types used in exhibition and trade show lighting units are Halide, Halogen, Flourescent and LED. Each of these use power at differing efficiencies and give off varying levels of light, ie brightness. Now the term bright suggests a fair quantity of lights, that need not be so, it also went hand in hand with heat out put, many bulbs can give off considerable heat especially if they are of a high wattage. We can offer you a range of lighting models that cover all of the above, plus a source of advice if you should wish to share your requirements. "What's on vouge at the moment" you may wish to know, Halide we answer. So for those that like the nitty gritty and technical stuff......  http://www.edisontechcenter.org/metalhalide.html There is a unit that can give you the brightness of a 300w halogen but none of the heat, plus it gives's a white light... oh and will cost half the price to run at the exhibition halls, and let's admit it we are all looking to make a saving where we can. We can offer you a range of lighting models that cover all of the above, plus a source of advice if you should wish to share your requirements. Better still, why not visit out show room, see the units, see the bulbs colour ranges and compare the heat outputs too. We are always adding new lighting models to our range, why not see what's on offer.... http://www.cokerexpo.co.uk/lighting.htm
